This is the complete Big Walk Thunderstore mods list, pulled from the Thunderstore package listing for the big-walk community on 3 September 2026. There were 68 packages on the community that day, and the tables below cover 67 of them, sorted by lifetime download count inside each Thunderstore category. Every version number, download figure and update date is taken straight from the package listing, and every description is a paraphrase of the author's own package summary rather than something this wiki has tested.
The Big Walk modding scene is young: the community opened on 5 August 2026, one day after the game's release, and 65 of the 68 packages were first published during August 2026. Nothing here is an official House House feature, and none of the developer patch notes through 1.5.1 (28 August 2026) mention modding.
How this list is built
The list is a straight dump of the Thunderstore listing, with three editorial rules applied on top:
- Grouping follows Thunderstore's own categories. A package can carry several categories at once, so each one is placed under a single primary heading rather than repeated. Across all 68 packages the category tags break down as Mods 60, Misc 21, Tools 14, Audio 4, Libraries 2 and Modpacks 1, and four packages carry no category tag at all.
- Sorting is by lifetime downloads, highest first, inside each group. That is a popularity measure, not a quality one, and it heavily favours packages published in the first week of August.
- One package is left out. BayTurtleKing's Moderation_Plus (252 downloads, updated 12 August 2026) is a host-only ban and anti-cheat panel, and this wiki does not write install or usage instructions for moderation, cheat or griefing packages. Thunderstore files everything in the same generic Mods bucket, so that exclusion is our editorial line and not a Thunderstore label. Big Walk's community is small and, unlike some other Unity co-op games, has no aimbot or god-mode packages in the listing at the time of writing.
Two numbers put the scale in perspective. The three cross-game tools at the top of the tables, r2modman, BepInExPack_IL2CPP and GaleModManager, account for well over eleven million downloads between them because they serve every Thunderstore game. The Big Walk-specific packages, all 65 of them, add up to roughly 74,000 downloads.

Of the 68 packages, 59 declare BepInEx-BepInExPack_IL2CPP-6.0.755 as a dependency. The other nine are the three cross-game tools, four gugger packages that chain through that author's own Core library instead, and BigNameTags and TeleportToPlayer, which list nothing at all. Add BigBack, which names both BepInEx and Core, and five packages in total need gugger's Core. DayNightSettings is the one package that also requires ModSettingsMenu. A mod manager resolves all of that automatically, which is why the install guide recommends one. If a package refuses to load after you install it, start with mods not working.
Reading the tables
Downloads and versions are the figures Thunderstore reported on 3 September 2026 and they move daily. The "What it does" column paraphrases each author's package summary; where a summary says a mod is host-only or client-side, that is the author's claim, and this wiki has not verified it. Curated picks by purpose live on best mods, voice packages are compared on voice mods, and the server browser package has its own page on public lobbies.

Packages published or updated most recently
Eight packages were updated on or after 26 August 2026, which is useful when you are checking what still works after a game patch. The newest activity in the listing on 3 September 2026 was Ukrainian_BigWalk (2 September), MapParachute (2 September), NeverSleep (1 September), TeleportToPlayer (1 September) and Big_Walkies (30 August). Bigger_Walk, ModSettingsMenu and BigTalk_ConversationStarters also saw late-August updates.
Nothing in the listing was marked deprecated on 3 September 2026. That is not the same as "still works": Thunderstore only shows the deprecation flag an author sets by hand, and the developer's patches 1.4.9, 1.4.10, 1.5.0 and 1.5.1 all touched networking, collision or audio, which is exactly the surface most of these plugins hook into. Reporting a missing mod
This list is a snapshot, not a live feed. New Big Walk packages appear on Thunderstore most weeks, and this page is regenerated by hand.
- Check the source first. If a package is on thunderstore.io/c/big-walk and not in the tables above, it was almost certainly published after 3 September 2026.
- Nexus Mods also hosts Big Walk files. Those are not covered here, because this table is generated only from the Thunderstore listing.
- What we need to add an entry: the Thunderstore namespace and package name, for example
gugger/Core, which is enough to look everything else up. - What will not be added: cheat, moderation and griefing packages, per the rule above.
If you maintain a Big Walk mod and something in your row is wrong, the version, download count and description here all come from your Thunderstore package page, so correcting the package page corrects this table at the next refresh.
Sources and last check
Checked 3 September 2026. Every row in the tables, plus the package counts, category tags, dependency strings, version numbers, download totals and update dates, comes from the Thunderstore listing and individual package pages for the Big Walk community at thunderstore.io/c/big-walk, including the pages for BepInExPack_IL2CPP, r2modman and GaleModManager.
Every "What it does" description is the mod author's own claim about their package, paraphrased, not a result this wiki has tested, and that includes compatibility notes such as host-only or client-side. The statement that Big Walk is an IL2CPP build needing the IL2CPP BepInEx pack rather than a BepInEx 5 pack is likewise a mod author's note, taken from a package README on Thunderstore, and no official source confirms it. Patch dates and the current game version 1.5.1 come from the official House House Steam announcement of 28 August 2026. No official Big Walk source mentions modding at all, so nothing on this page is endorsed by the developers.
